Each child will have a clothes pin that starts on “ready to learn” every morning. Throughout the day the student will be asked to move their clothes pin up or down the colored chart according to their behavior. As the students move the clips up, they are working towards rewards. However, if a student makes an inappropriate behavior choice, then they must move their clip down and can lose privileges. If a child has continual problems making good choices, then parents will be contacted.
In order to keep you informed about behavior, you will need to see your child's homework folder each night. There is a section at the top for the behavior log (square with days of the week). At the end of the day, your child will color their daily behavior log for you to see. It is very important that you check and discuss behavior daily with your child. Please be sure to sign your child’s homework/newsletter each day after discussing the day with them.
With parental communication and support, we will have a GREAT YEAR!
